My car was totaled and I was not even near the car!!

I had my car totaled Saturday morning and I was asleep in bed when it happened! From what the police told me it was a stolen van, it came down the hill too fast, hit my car, totaled it then slid across the street and crashed into a gas meter and porch. I'm glad no one in the house was hurt, but now I am left without a car and the worst part is that my car was nine years old and I doubt I will get enough money from the accident to get a new car. I am also sad as I had this car for nine years and put 121,000 miles on it. I just hope I can get a new car or my insurance and the drivers insurance will be seeing me fight back for what I deserve and I deserve another car. Since I was not even near it when the accident happened.

Anyone have any suggestions as to how to deal with both insurance agencies? I need wheels.
