Americans are being brainwashed by the leaders of America. I'll give you three examples.
1, They say we can not afford healthcare for all Americans, but yet every person in Congress, House, and Senate get free first class top of the line lifetime healthcare and so does their families. If this is government OF, By, and For The People then why does the government get free healthcare and the people don't?
2, They say we can't afford to have a higher minimum wage. Example: 7.20 an hour, but Congress votes every year or two to raise their pay. They each get around two hundred thousand dollars a year when you factor in their benefits and pay. If this is government OF, By, and For The People then why does the government get a raise and the people don't?
3, They say Social Security is going broke and it may not be there for you when you need it. If Americans must depend on Social Security for their retirement why is it that Congress has a better retirement plan for themselves? They and their spouses will get millions of dollars each when they retire. Then why is it that the rest of America has to depend on a plan that may be broke? If this is government OF, By, and For The People then why does the government get a great secure retirement plan and the people don't?
You may debate with me on the cost of free healthcare, a higher minimum wage and a better retirement plan for all Americans, but you cannot deny that Congress does attempt to trick Americans into thinking we don't have the money for things all Americans need, but when Congress wants or claims to need it they get it. My question to all of you is this.
WHY DO YOU LET CONGRESS BRAINWASH YOU AND WHY DO YOU NOT ACT TO DEMAND THEY HAVE THE SAME LAWS AND PLANS AS ALL AMERICANS DO?
Get off of your can and start to demand fairness for all throughout the land!
Con- gress ever think about that? The first part of Congress is con and they have conned Americans for far too long. Let us act to bring back a government OF, By, and For The People. Don't let them con you anymore.
If we unite in the fight to demand what is right then we shall defeat those who take the money from the people of America and use it for their own agendas while telling us it's good for us.
Congress and the devil. I wonder which one of them tell more lies and hurt more people?
Not everyone in Congress is dishonest and out for themselves, but if we do not take action those who are honest can not act to do what is right because they do not have enough power. If we demand action and call, write, fax, e-mail, snail mail, protest and unite in the cause with millions of Americans doing at least one of the actions I listed then you and I will help this country be even a greater land for freedom, opportunity, education, the pursuit of happiness and we who act will have been a part of a historical change in America.
You may laugh at this idea or pass it off as nonsense, but in the fifties and sixties when the civil rights movement was forming people laughed and said it could not be done that they would never get enough of people to act. Well, they got millions of people to act and we have a civil rights act and any man or woman can go anywhere they want to, they can eat wherever they choose so before you laugh at me and my idea just remember the Civil Rights movement started by one person demanding change.
You are now at a critical decision in your life you can decide to do nothing and laugh at me and my idea. You can let Congress keep brainwashing you or you can act this minute by writing to Congress and start demanding we, the people, get the same benefits as those who are in government..
Will you act or are you afraid to act? No man or woman need act alone if the brave join them and no man or woman should be afraid to act if others will be willing to act with them. Be brave my fellow Americans and act to change America once again, a change for the betterment of humanity.
You have the power to do what is moral and right, but you must choose to use this power or you have wasted what our founders of these great United States OF America have given to us. They gave us the freedom and the right to act. They gave all Americans the power will you throw it away?
When I talk about Congress I blame both sides for the brainwashing of Americans. Republicans and Democrats both lie to Americans to get the votes when in truth both sides care not about you but how much money they can make. from you.
Let us create new parties and let America once again be a land that has government Of, By, and For the people. For now it is time that we demand the Democrats and Republicans in Congress start doing what we tell them to do. Use the power you have Americans and you will see a neww America.

Number 2, they shouldn't be able to raise their own salaries, but raising minumum wage is not the answer. That only causes everything else to go up.
Number 3, the Social Security problem is caused by too many people getting free handouts who shouldn't. I say, let's get bums off Social Security and make them work for real.
