June-6-2005. Did you forget?

June- 6-2005. I went to a cemetery to thank the soldiers who fought and died for freedom and to make a short video which went like this.

When they fought for America's freedom they fought side by side be they white, black, Asian, Jewish, etc. They did not fight for their race they did not fight for a certain nationality. They fought for America and freedom. It is for us to keep that fight going now and forever we fight peacefully, but we must fight! To keep America free!

Now, later on Monday night I was talking about the meaning of the fourth of July and when I went to leave a man started talking with us. It turned out it was a vet of the Korean War and his late brother had fought in D-Day. We spoke about freedom in today's America and he is very angry about the National ID card and the so called Patriot Acts. He said we lose more freedom everyday this from a man who fought for our freedom. So, when I tell you about the dangers of this National ID card think about this. A man who fought for freedom agrees with me! Who among you can disagree with this man? Who among you think about freedom on a daily basis? And this law is much more of an attack on privacy then the Social Security card you have. Don't listen to me get off your butts and learn everything you can about this law

THEN JOIN ME IN FIGHTING FOR A REPEAL OF THIS LAW AS WELL AS THE PATRIOT ACTS. THESE LAWS CLAIM TO BE FOR OUR SECURITY AND THE SAFETY OF OUR COUNTRY, BUT THEY ARE NOTHING MORE THAN AN OUTRIGHT ATTACK ON OUR FREEDOM!!!

DON'T LET WHAT MILLIONS OF AMERICANS FOUGHT AND DIED FOR GO IN VAIN. DON'T LET US LOSE OUR FREEDOMS. STOP BEING LAZY AND ACT NOW OR LOSE THE FREEDOMS WE HAVE HAD FOR TWO HUNDRED AND TWENTY NINE YEARS!

I am not yelling, but it is time for you to rise up or lose what your fathers and grandfathers and their grandfathers have fought and died for. Millions of men and women died for freedom for America will you do nothing while our freedoms go away?

JUNE - 6-1944 D-DAY began and thousands of Americans died for the cause of freedom. Did you forget to salute them today? On the Fourth of July before you do anything else with the family take everyone to the local cemetery and teach them that this is the real reason we celebrate this day.
