18 cents!

Today I went to buy a loaf of bread then I decided to go to the Wonder store.
I went in and bought Texas Toast a bread that can cost as much as 2.69 a loaf, I also bought a loaf or Rye bread which cost about 2.75 a loaf. Well, I went to the cashier and the total was 1.18 for both loafs! But I had filled up my discount card and received a dollar off my total for two loafs that's right 18 cents! And this is fresh bread not day old or week old. Just think 18 cents for two loafs is this really 2005? Ha, ha, ha I laugh because I got two loafs of bread for less than the cost of a phone call. Verizon pay phones cost 50 cents for a local call.

What is the relevance of this post? It shows that if one looks for bargins then they can save money.

Maybe they could use some of that savings for the future. Like opening up a Roth IRA, A 501K a Mutural fund or passbook savings account, stocks, or bonds.

I know saving a dollar or two won't be enough to do the savings plan but if you become more economical in your spending habits you will finally be about to start some sort of savings plan.

Even I have a saving plan sure, it's a very small amount but, I at least have one

Sometimes standing up for one makes you a leader of many.
