The first and the Final seen at the Drive In.
Well, on Thursday I shall go to see Star Wars 4. at the Dependable Drive In.
I feel it's only fitting as I saw the first Star Wars film part 3 at a drive in way back in 1977. Back then It was my first ever drive in movie I saw!
Why go to the drive in to see part 4? Well, many reasons listed below.
1, I'll have memories flow back to me about the first time I saw a Star Wars film.
2, Although it was in Scranton, PA and I was with a group of friends that I don't even know anymore mainly because I moved away from there back in 1977, two months after seeing Star Wars 3, A New Hope, I shall feel as if they are with me in spirit.
3, This drive has the sound come through the radio so you control how loud it is.
4, Two movies for only six, yes, six dollars!
5, You can sit outside and look at the stars while watching Star Wars and imagine it being a real story! Sure, we know it's not, but we can be a kid again can't we?
6, Food! You can bring any type of food you like, heck, you could even eat dinner there if you wish. Once, I went to the drive in and ate a chicken dinner with corn on the cob!
7, If this Star Wars ends depressingly then the second movie may just cheer me up.
So, people who live in Pittsburgh, PA why don't you go on Thursday and maybe just maybe you could meet me in person! Come on it's going to be great do you really want to miss out on all of the fun?
Dependable Drive In Link be there or miss the excitement!!
I still say we may yet see the final three films. George may still let some new person make the final three or in his will let them be made in thirty years or less. We may not see them, but maybe our children will?
Update!!
Note: I'm leaving my house in minutes to go out and sing Amazing Grace at the bar again I also sang We Are The Champions, and Swing Low, Sweet Chariot the latter with Ned.
Sometimes standing up for one makes you a leader of many.
