How it all started.
How It all started. My career in the arts. Well, it's like this. In 1987 I was listening to the radio and I hear this ad about extras being needed for a film. I said, "well, I was not sure what an extra was at that time, I never heard of the term." Anyway, I went to the place and signed up. A week later i'm on the set of a feature film and I was a happy guy!
Then, the Producer and Director come up to me and say, "Al, we would like to talk with you." I'm thinking, did I do something wrong? I mean the big bosses want to talk with me? We go over to the otherside of the street and the director said, "Al, can you talk? I was thinking what a silly question to ask. I said, "sure I can talk." Then he said," I mean can you talk on screen?" I said," I never did before, but I don't see why not? " So, I got a role as a homeless man who asks the co star of the movie if he could spare some money? He said," are you hungry? " I said, yeah man, I am. "He gives me some money and I say, "thanks alot, man, I appreciate it." For that little bit of acting I made if you include the residuals I have been sent over the years. The total amount I have made is over 3,677 dollars. All that for just a few lines and I even made up the lines. I said, "since then I have acted in sixty nine films and twenty eight films as an extra."
Mountain Man, I only have one film that is being sold that you can buy. It is called Meat For Satan's Icebox, but it is a very violent film and some may have issues with it. If one wants to buy it by all means do so, but be ready for some very wild scenes. I do think that people should buy the film if they want to see some of my skills as an actor.
The newest project I am in is titled, "I'm Serious." My part is in "The Arrangements" which will be shown at some very cool places when we get it done. Ned is the director and the man is doing a great job. David made Icebox, he did a good job as well, but I do pick on him as I like to enjoy the shoots.
Anyone who wants to see part of my resume can go here.
Sometimes standing up for one makes you a leader of many.
